Sunday, October 6th                                      NB38 FAREWELL WORSHIP & MEMORIAL SERVICE for Deceased Line Sister, BRENDA

Of the 32 line sisters completing the January questionnaire twenty-four responded that they would plan to attend and participate that day.  Despite dwindling commitments, seventeen of eighteen respondents to the October questionnaire plan to attend the NB38 Sunday Farewell Services and Lunch.


The Sunday Services and Lunch both will be held at our host hotel, the Marriott Towson, and the cost of food and beverages that may also include breakfast will be covered by the $100 Initial Fee each of you were asked and responded you would pay.  

 

NB38 Line Sisters in attendance should gather in the Hotel Conference center lobby for a group photo at 10:00amThe Worship and Memorial Service for our deceased line sister, Brenda L. Nichols will be held from 11:45am – 12:45pmaand the services will be open to our line, Big Sisters and Sorors from the 74 and 75 lines who want to attend. The Committee is in the process of trying to find Brenda's only surviving daughter to send a package from the line in honoring her mother.  During the service, we would like to make donation from our line to her mother's Sarcoma Cancer Foundation.

Our own Dr. Rev Deborah Hoy Jones will be guest minister and Marsha "Squeaky" Dunkins, our worship leader.  Rev Anita Gould has agreed to participate in presiding over our Memorial Service for Brenda.
